Working students have the opportunity to support various departments. You can focus on different aspects in line with your studies and your strengths. In the depots, you can start out in Sales, in the Key Account Backoffice or as a project assistant, for example. Or work in our headquarters in Neuenstein and Eschborn in HR, Marketing, Strategic Development and many other departments.
We offer all students with a thirst for knowledge the chance to complete a three to six-month paid internship. You’ll get an insight into our world of work: you can look forward to exciting tasks and a great team that can’t wait to meet you.
Your path
Want to start a new career but still earn money? Why not start as a temp in our parcel processing service?
Or perhaps you already know what career you want to embark on but studying is not for you? Then find out about our many apprenticeships. If you missed out on practical experience during your studies, then maybe one of our integrated degree programmes is just right for you.
All university dropouts who choose an apprenticeship or integrated degree programme with us can expect extensive training opportunities. We’ll make you fit for the future: presentation training, seminars on self and time management, telephone training or training sessions on office programmes are part of your development plan.

I studied civil engineering at uni for two semesters. Since the programme lacked a practical component, I decided to drop out at the end of the second semester. In my search for an apprenticeship where I would finally be rewarded for my work but also keep in touch with reality, friends told me about GLS. After a successful interview I was hired. Thanks to a very good onboarding programme, my transition to professional life went smoothly and I feel very well taken care of.
